Origins Journal Entry #1
Here is the poem I promised about rain. I wanted to share it first with our students.
Rain
As I sit,
Eyes closed,
Mind engaged,
Anticipating,
I am . . . mesmerized . . .
hypnotized.
Rain is falling,
Smashing beautifully into a million pieces.
Shattering as it hits its target.
The ground—
As if covered with diamonds—
Glistens.
As I sit,
Eyes closed,
Mind engaged,
I am at awe with God.
He orchestrates,
He directs,
He ordains,
Every rain drop.
Its size, destination, purpose
All designed by God.
As I sit,
Eyes closed,
Mind engaged,
I am thankful.
I am more than a rain drop.
ORIGINS Journal Entry
We are having our students put together an ORIGINS journal for the series we are currently doing.
My first entry is a poem about rain. I will share that at another time.
My second entry is a a picture I took at the Columbus Clippers game last night. During the 5th inning it started to rain. It was heavy but quick.
Out over center field, this is what we saw:
In the first picture, you can see a double rainbow. It was really cool and just another reminder of how AMAZING God’s creation is.
