EPIC HSLT: Day #7

July 22, 2008 By: Ryan Category: Ministry Blogs

I just want to start off by saying, "BRAD GOT PULLED OVER!!!!"

brad with police1

We had the luxury of renting a 2008 Cadillac CTSv for the week which was a lot of fun.  Brad and I were the only ones who were on the contract to drive.  This morning he asked if he could take the car out with some of the students.  The result–a greeting from the local law enforcement.

Today was an exciting day for other reasons as well.  Today, we finally went to beach to evangelize.  Jacob suggested we get some "slip and slides" and lay them out and invite people to join us.  GREAT IDEA Jacob!!!

The result was a lot of kids stopping by and taking runs and the opportunity for us to share with them the love of Christ.

Today was also a day that I will never forget as Anna and I had the opportunity to baptize 5 of our students.

Thank you so much, Katie, Kate, Eva, Sarah and Melody for letting us be a part of this every special event in your life.  We will NEVER forget it.

That evening we went out to Fudrucker’s where most of our guys and many of our girls (go GIRLS!!!) ate the pounder (a 1 pound hamburger).  And then it was off to Barefoot Landing for some shopping together.
