Nissan Sentra

Nothing like going from a Jeep Grand Cherokee with all the "bells and whistles", to a little Nissan Sentra with a basic package. True–the Jeep did have the hood and driver side door strapped shut with ratchet-straps and the driver’s front wheel was ready to fall off but it was a fun car to drive.

I am not knocking the Sentra though. I love getting back to a 5 speed and am looking forward to saving the money filling up on gas.

EPIC Car Wash

We spent our afternoon on Saturday doing a car wash to help raise some money for our High School Leadership Training trip coming up in July. Though we didn’t make a WHOLE LOT of money, we had a lot of fun and the students worked hard. Here are some pics of the day:

EPIC Car Wash

This Saturday, EPIC is having a car wash. Here are the details:

Car Wash: Combo service/outreach/evangelism/fund raising project

Where: Over the Top Pizza, ______ Rt. 23 (I don’t know the address)

When: Sat. June 21st, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Who: All EPIC Ministry students (middle and high schools)

Bring: Buckets, sponges, towels, ladders (to reach top of cars), and hoses.

Dress: Modest, no swim suits please! Church t-shirts would be awesome!

RSVP: It is VERY important that we know how many students are coming!! If we do not have enough students, we will have to cancel!

Help needed:

1. Pick up 2 tables and 12 chairs from church, have at Over the Top by 10 a.m.

2. Pick up two 5 gallon containers from church and fill with ice water. Also purchase cups for the water. Please have to Over the Top by 10 a.m.

3. Make car wash signs, 6-8 needed. Bright colors with bold block letters are best.

4. Someone to get a tent from the Busheys and have to Over the Top by 10 a.m. Also, help set up the tent.

5. Need adults to help supervise the students with sharing as well as car washing.
