My Epic Journey

One of my favorite blog posts, The Plow, that I frequent several times a day, posted this yesterday.

So, how do you feel when you see this? The atheist posters are the idea of the British Humanist Association (BHA) and have been supported by prominent atheist Professor Richard Dawkins. Here is what Dawkins had to say about the campaign. “This campaign to put alternative slogans on London buses will make people think – and thinking is anathema to religion.”

What do we do with this? Do we get angry and try and fight back, or do we use this as Paul would, to point to Christ? Do we tell people about the joy in our life that can only come from Christ and His redemption? Do we inform people that with Christ we have NO WORRIES in our life? How would you respond?

What are your biggest time consumers each day?

This could include online reading, email, phone calls, meetings, paperwork, errands, IM, online forums, hobbies, writing, exercise, eating, time with your family, chores, etc. What takes up most of your time? Maybe list 2-3 things. Share in the comments!

This is the game we played at EPIC this past weekend. The game is so much fun you’ll want to participate yourself. Buy a few inexpensive Hot Wheels^® or Matchbox^® cars and set up a miniature drag-racing strip for students on the floor or on a long table. The goal is to have students, two at a time, push the cars down the track only using their tongues. The first player to push their vehicle across the finish line will be the winner.
