Fingers-Crossed
It is that time of the year again–the Beginning. Last year has past and we are facing a clean slate with the coming year. We anticipate both triumphs and failures but in the end our hope is always “success.” And in order to help us feel as if we ahve accomplished something we make resolutions. Resolves to change a behavior or a thought and turn it into something positive.
As I look back on the previous year’s resolutions, I am disappointed, like most, that I haven’t kept my resolutions. So this year, with fingers-crossed, I am sharing my resolutions with you in a hopes that you all will encourage me through out the year to keep faithful to them.
So here we go:
1. To exercise at least three times a week.
2. To eat healthier (under 2200 calories a day).
3. To journal (blog) five times a week.
4. To pray with at least three people each week.
5. To read 24 books this year (2 a month).
5. To share my faith with at least two people a week.
I am sure there will be more to come in the next couple of days, but this is my start and the ones I really want to hold to. Please pray that I will be faithful to these changes and please encourage me through out the year.
