(CNSNews.com) - The Miller Brewing Company, a sponsor of this weekend’s homosexual “leather” street fair in San Francisco, has asked to have its logo removed from an advertising poster that has offended some Christians. The advertisement portrays Christ and his disciples as half-naked sado-masochists.

“While Miller has supported the Folsom Street Fair for several years, we take exception to the poster the organizing committee developed this year. We understand some individuals may find the imagery offensive and we have asked the organizers to remove our logo from the poster effective immediately,” the company told Cybercast News Service on Tuesday.

The group behind the ad said it was not intended to be either “pro-religion or anti-religion,” but the poster — a parody of Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “The Last Supper” — continued to draw fire from Christian organizations on Tuesday.

The ad is promoting the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco — essentially a multi-city block party for homosexuals. It shows a group of men and women scantily clad, at a long table, laden with sex toys and sado-masochistic implements. Folsom Street Fair Ad (more…)

Armless Man Gets in FIST Fight

I came across this today and had to pass this on to the readers.  I love how they reported that there was a fist fight.  How that happens with an armless man is beyond me!

Police Question Armless Man In Neighbor’s Death

UPDATED: 8:42 am EDT September 18, 2007

Police questioned an armless man Monday about the death of his neighbor. Relatives of Charles Keith Teer, 47, claim he died after the armless man head-butted and kicked Teer during a fight. The two men lived across the street from each other on Pine Street in the Atlanta suburb. Teer’s relatives told police the men were arguing over a woman. Teer’s sister said the armless man attacked her brother. “They got into a big confrontation, a verbal confrontation and a fist fight and he came after my brother, he came with full force, and head butted him as hard as he could,” said Lynn Elliot. She said Teer collapsed and died a short time after the fight. Police questioned the armless neighbor, and will decide by Tuesday afternoon if any charges will be filed, according to Lt. Robert Stevens of the Snellville Police Department.

True love

Who says there is no such thing as true love in today’s world?  A recent article from DailyNews.com argues otherwise.

The abandoned monkey who has found love with a pigeon

They’re an odd couple in every sense but a monkey and a pigeon have become inseparable at an animal sanctuary in China.

The 12-week-old macaque - who was abandoned by his mother - was close to death when it was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province.

After being taken to an animal hospital his health began to improve but he seemed spiritless - until he developed a friendship with a white pigeon.

The blossoming relationship helped to revive the macaque who has developed a new lease of life, say staff at the sanctuary.

Now the unlikely duo are never far from each other’s side, but they aren’t the only ones to strike up an unusual friendship.

Earlier this year a pig adopted a tiger cub and raised him along with her piglets because his mother couldn’t feed him.

And in 2005 a baby dear named Mi-Lu befriended lurcher Geoffrey at the Knowsley Animal Park in Merseyside after she was rejected by her mother
